The purpose of this partnering consortium is to provide a dedicated and safe space for students to discover, develop, and showcase their academic interests and identities in their communities with classmates, friends, family, teammates, and friends nurtured by a village of parents, educators, learning specialists, and mentors. More specifically, our initiative is a collaboration of all stakeholders involved in a student’s life. We work together with students, families, and school entities including but not limited to the student’s teachers, counselors, and social workers. Mentors will work in schools, libraries, and parks across Minneapolis.
